Medium, almost purple colour.
Great nose! Blackberry, black currant, flowers, a bit of earth. Fragrant and fresh.
Lovely juicy, clean fruit. Dark berries and cherries. Ultra pure and very honest. Elegant and intense.
Good follow-through and finish. Lots of freshness and class.
Very good Bourgogne! This could well become a new house red at maison Burgoholic!

Rather light colour, cherry/strawberry red.
Absolutely stunning nose!! Baskets full of overwhelming, seductive red fruit. Tres pinot! Pain d' epice, creme de cassis, raspberry sweets. But also some exotic spices and a bit of farm-yard.
Quite delicate structure, but with good intensity. Ripe, sweetish fruit. Lots of freshness as well. Juicy. Candied cherries and some marzipan. This has lots of sex appeal!
Very soft, lip smacking finish. Some minerals, a touch of liqourice. Very good lenght.
This is a very, very lovely wine!

Medium colour.
Very attractive nose, with lovely ripe dark fruit, a layer of earth underneath, topped off with a tiny hint of oak and a sprinkle of spices.
Ripe dark fruit on the palate, good depth and intensity, and a lot of freshness. Real Morey character (slightly rustic).
Good lenght, good grip. Soft tannins.
Very good indeed for a village. I even prefer this over the Sigaut premier cru below.

My first ever encounter with a wine from this producer.
Quite transparent colour.
Promising nose: ripe and rich, lots of fruit, some earth as well. Very Burgundian.
Medium-bodied, yet with good intensity. Good fruit. Rather sweet and (therefore) a bit plump.
Some minerals and earth on the finish. Good length. Soft tannins and some freshness.
Nice wine, though I would have preferred it to be a bit less sweet. A chaptalisation issue? Still, I would try more from this producer.

Medium-full colour.
Fragrant, soft and very seductive on the nose. Red berries and raspberries.
Medium-bodied yet with good intensity. Very, very lovely pure fruit. Very good balance and energy.
Good lenght. The aftertaste is an irresistible invitation to take another swig.
This has always been one of my favourite wines at this level, and the 2007 version is no exception.

Seductive, expressive nose. Ripe fruit (pear, peach), minerally and a bit smokey.
Rich, juicy and round on the palate. Good ripeness and very good freshness. Gouleyant. A bit nutty. Very well balanced. Soft acidity considering the vintage.
Really long, intense finish. Lots of minerally grip. Good acidity.
Lovely Puligny! What more can I say?

Light, bright cherry red.
Lovely nose. Red berries and cherries, a light floral touch and some stony accents.
Beautiful fruit on the palate. Very, very pure. Fresh, brisk, elegant. Textbook pinot noir. Every gulp makes you longing for the next one.
Really soft, fruity finish, yet with sufficient grip and length.
Very lovely wine. The ’07 vintage at its best.

Darkish “pee-yellow” colour.
Attractive, complexe nose. Butter, toast, ripe yellow fruits, minerals and some “struck match”.
It starts promising on the palate: quite full, round, juicy, fat. But there is no follow-through, it very quickly turns thin and hollow. All there is left is some zesty acidity and some bitterness on the finish.
Kept it in the fridge until the following day.
Day 2:
It has improved a lot. The nose is still nice, and on the palate it now has intensity and richness all the way, it’s better balanced and longer.
Tasted: May 2010 on a leaf day (day 1) and a fruit day (day 2)

Fullish colour.
Firm, rather closed nose. Swirling reveals some ripe yet fresh fruit, earth and a sprinkle of creme de cassis.
Quite closed on the palate as well. Not very expressive yet. Lacks "cheerfulness" at this point. Surprisingly so, taking into account the character of the vintage ('07s are usually light, fruity, expressive, accessible) and David's previous vintages, that were very gulpable (in the best sense of the word).
Let's put the cork back on and see if the wine will have improved the next day.
Day 2:
Yeah! Much more open. Rich, ripe fruit on the nose, with some traces of oak underneath, as well as something earthy and stony.
Still rather firm on the palate, but with good rich fruit, fresness, intensity and grip.
Good length. Some tannins, but not harsh.
Honest, pure, somewhat rustic Bourgogne. Okay now, but I believe there is room for improvement if you give it some more time.

Bright, light youthful red, showing hardly any signs of the age of the wine.
Attractive, complexe nose. Spicy, animal, with undergrowth and wet stones, but also with nice red fruit (cherry).
Quite fresh, fruity and juicy on the palate, with a pretty spicyness. Very youthful, and drinking very well.
Spicy, stony finish. Good grip and sufficient lenght. Still some (very soft) tannins.
Surprising wine: surprisingly youthful, and surpisingly tasty.
